Today all the pieces for my fundraising BBQ came together thanks to the huge efforts of Beeky (trading director), Nisha (another exec) and Amy Creasey my manager. We have some amazing prizes to auction off including a holiday (!!), DVDs and selfridges vouchers...but there's loads more.
Anyway the BBQ is on the roof terrace of the Doggetts Coat and Badge
This is good because it is overlooking the thames, near work and actually quite nice despite its looks. We have Specific Media paying for the BBQ, Yahoo paying for drinks and Myspace bringing a DJ.
People here at work seem really supportive and up for it so hopefully it will give me a big boost for my target.
In the mean time, tonight is the NMA awards, which is one of the big award dos for digital advertising. With two weeks to go, this is the last big blow out for me. Then its head down, and swimming...and then Cap Griz Nez.
